Munson Hicks and Michael Gabriel Goodfriend play a game of cat and mouse in Anthony Shaffer’s Tony Award-winning play Sleuth, beginning at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis Oct. 14.

Under the direction of Michael Evan Haney, Sleuth officially opens Oct. 16 and will play a limited run through Nov. 8 at the Loretto Hilton Center.

Hicks is cast as Andrew Wyke with Goodfriend as Milo Tindle, Stanley Rushton as Inspector Doppler, Robin Mayfield as Det. Sgt. Tarrant and Liam McNulty as P.C. Higgs.

Press notes for the Rep production read: "Andrew Wyke, a prominent English mystery writer, invites young Milo Tindle to his isolated, elaborate country house to settle a rather unpleasant bit of business: Milo is having an affair with Wyke’s wife. Filled with more thrills, turns and twists than ten typical mysteries, this Tony Award-winning delicious puzzle will keep you guessing until the very end, as the pair engage in a deadly and increasingly complex game of cat and mouse."

Designing Sleuth are Paul Shortt (scenic design), Gordon DeVinney (costume design), James Sale (lighting design), Rocco Dal Vera (dialect coach) and Drew Fracher (fight director).
