Titles for the 2010 season at Riverside Theatre's Second Stage black box theatre have been announced. The Vero Beach Equity company's intimate and flexible venue, the Waxlax Stage, will feature work by writers Jacques Brel, Lee Blessing and Glen Berger.

Allen D. Cornell, producing artistic director of Riverside Theatre, created the Second Stage season in 1995 "as a contemporary showcase for new or Off-Broadway shows," works for the adventurous theatregoer.

The 2010 Second Stage season begins Jan. 19-31, 2010, with the musical revue that introduced Belgian/French singer-songwriter Jacques Brel to American audiences — the international hit Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris.

Berger's Underneath the Lintel, a one-man Off-Broadway play about a Dutch librarian who travels the globe to uncover the mystery of an overdue book, will play Feb. 23–March 7, 2010.

The final production of the Second Stage season is Cobb, Lee Blessing's biographical drama about baseball player Ty Cobb, playing April 13-25, 2010.

Creative teams will be announced at a later date.

Series tickets for the Second Stage are $75. Single tickets are $30. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at (772) 231-6990 or (800) 445-6745 or online at www.riversidetheatre.com.
