Haskell Sees the Light in Altar Boyz Off-Broadway Oct. 30

"So You Think You Can Dance" contestant and former 9 to 5 cast member Neil Haskell returns to Off-Broadway's Altar Boyz for a limited engagement beginning Oct. 30.

Haskell, who appeared in Altar Boyz in 2008, will rejoin the cast as Luke through Nov. 4, during Lee Markham's absence. The cast of Altar Boyz also features Michael Kadin Craig, Travis Nesbitt, Mauricio Perez and Ravi Roth.

Haskell made his Broadway debut in The Times They Are A Changin' and also appeared in the Dolly Parton musical 9 to 5 last season. Best known for his performances on Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance," Haskell has also appeared on television in "One Life to Live" and "The American Mall."

A 2005 Outer Critics Circle winner, Altar Boyz is directed by Stafford Arima with choreography by Christopher Gattelli. Originally birthed as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival, Altar Boyz opened Off-Broadway March 1, 2005.

Altar Boyz has music and lyrics by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker with book by Kevin Del Aguila. The musical is based on a concept by Marc Kessler and Ken Davenport.
