Tony Award winner Michele Pawk headlines a Nov. 9 New York City industry reading of Joe Major's new play Joan Crawford In…'Flesh and Blood!'

Shea Sullivan will present the private reading to be directed by Richard Roland. The reading features original music by Justin Hatchimonji.

Billed as "a film noir parody," Joan Crawford In…'Flesh and Blood!' finds "Joan Crawford in the starring role of a fictitious, cinematic crime-drama from 1955 known as 'Flesh and Blood!' As a long-suffering mother, Crawford's character unwittingly gets mixed up with the notorious Creole Mafia as their freelance, personal decorator. And it isn't long before she's knee-deep in a thrilling plot of murder, political corruption and the seedy world of 1950's children's television!"

Starring as the titular Hollywood legend is Pawk, in a cast that also features Kathy Fitzgerald (9 to 5), Jason Kravitz (The Drowsy Chaperone), Roger Rifkin (Early to Bed), Wayne Schroder (9 to 5), Ryan Silverman (Cry-Baby) and Sarah Stiles (Vanities).

Pawk earned a Tony Award for her turn in Hollywood Arms and has also played on Broadway in Mamma Mia!, Crazy for You, Chicago, Triumph of Love, Cabaret and Losing Louie. The actress was recently on the New York stage in Prayer for My Enemy and Mahida's Extra Key to Heaven.

Director Roland has directed regional productions of Thoroughly Modern Millie, Grease and Tales From the Bad Years, and most recently served as associate director for Vanities: A New Musical at Off-Broadway's Second Stage.
