Ashley Brown's "Speak Low" Released Digitally Nov. 10

"Speak Low," the new solo debut album of romantic standards from Broadway's original Mary Poppins, Ashley Brown, is released at digital retail outlets Nov. 10.

"Speak Low," released on the Sh-K-Boom Records label, makes its iTunes digital debut Nov. 10, while the in-store arrival of the album is set for Jan. 12, 2010. David Lau produces the recording that features fresh arrangements of favorite standards.

Collaborating with Brown on the recording are conductor-arranger Lee Musiker, pianist-arranger Yaron Gershovsky and Sony artist Eldar, a jazz pianist.



In addition to originating the title role in the Broadway production of Disney's Mary Poppins (and in the national tour), Brown appeared in the Broadway run of Beauty and the Beast as well as Disney's On the Record, which was seen on a national tour. Her future concert dates include engagements with the Baltimore Symphony, Ottawa Symphony, Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, Pensacola Symphony and a show at Feinstein's at Loews Regency.
