Hilty, Kazee, Karr, Weiss and Margherita Set for Rated RSO in Los Angeles

9 to 5's Megan Hilty and Steve Kazee will sing the songs of composer Ryan Scott Oliver at the Boston Court Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles Dec. 4 and 5 in an evening titled Rated RSO.



Oliver, whose work has been performed at Joe's Pub and the New York Musical Theatre Festival, will return to the Boston Court for the latest concert of his music that will be directed by Travis Greisler and will feature musical direction by Brett Ryback.

In addition to Hilty (9 to 5, Wicked) and Kazee (110 in the Shade), the concerts will feature Olivier Award winner Leslie Margherita (Zorro), Morgan Karr (Spring Awakening), Haviland Stillwell (Les Miserables), Natalie Weiss (Wicked), Will Collyer (Parade), Melissa Lyons (Les Miserables), Daniel Tartar (Last 5 Years), Grace Wall, Emily Clark, Katie Gassert, Eric Michael Krop, Jeff Leatherwood and Jeffrey Todd.

Oliver (Alive at Ten, Circle Nine, Quit India) is a recipient of the 2008 Richard Rodgers Award and the 2009 Jonathan Larson Grant. Oliver composed music for the Playwrights Horizons reading of Mrs. Sharp and has also penned the score to We The People, which will bow Off-Broadway in 2010.
