NYMF Gala to Feature Groff, O'Hara and [title of show] Cast

In addition to Groff (Spring Awakening, The Singing Forest); O'Hara (South Pacific, The Light in the Piazza); and [tos] cast members Jeff Bowen, Hunter Bell, Susan Blackwell and Heidi Blickenstaff; the NYMF gala includes previously announced performers Tony winner Alice Ripley (Next to Normal, Side Show); Tony winner Tom Kitt (Next to Normal, High Fidelity); Tony nominee Gavin Creel (Hair, Mary Poppins); Sherie Renee Scott (Everyday Rapture, The Little Mermaid); and musician Greg Naughton.
NYMF productions that will be showcased include Academy, Cross That River, Fat Camp, F#@KING UP EVERYTHING, Hurricane and Judas & Me.
The 8:30 PM event will celebrate the musicals presented during NYMF 2009, and will also recognize the special efforts of NY1 "On Stage" and Sh-K-Boom and Ghostlight Records.
The gala evening will begin with cocktails at 6:30 PM, followed by dinner at 7:30 PM and the 8:30 PM awards presentation. A VIP after party follows the event at 10 PM.
