Michael Urie, Ari Graynor and Jason Tam will take part in a reading of Brian Sloan's WTC View Nov. 22 at the Player's Theatre.
Andrew Volkoff directs a cast that includes Urie ("Ugly Betty," The Temperamentals), Graynor (The Little Dog Laughed) and Tam (A Chorus Line), as well as Ralph Macchio ("Ugly Betty," "The Karate Kid," How to Succeed), Lucas Papaealis (Essential Self-Defense), Dane DeHaan (End Days, American Buffalo), Clancy O’Connor ("John Adams") and Jay Gaussoin ("Dandelion Man").
The latest reading is in anticipation of a 2011 full production in New York City to commemorate the anniversary of the event that changed the course of American and world history. Sloan adapted the play into a 2006 film, which he also directed.
The free reading of WTC View will be presented at 2 PM on Nov. 22. For reservations, e-mail contact@wtcview.com. The Players Theatre is located at 115 MacDougal Street in Manhattan.
