An industry reading of The Secret Life of Cartoons will be presented Nov. 23 at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios in Manhattan.

Jay Binder will direct the reading of Clive Barker's work, which has been adapted by David Skovron. The reading is scheduled to begin at 2 PM.

The cast will boast the talents of Jennifer Coolidge, Richard Kind, Roger Bart, Shuler Hensley, Mary Testa, David Turner, Lacey Kohl, John Ellison Conlee, Rod Sweitzer and Dalton Harrod.

Barker originally wrote the show as a performance piece for the Scottish Fringe Festival; Skovron adapted the show last year and has worked with Barker for this upcoming reading.

The Secret Life of Cartoons, according to press notes, is described as such: "Imagine what happens when cartoon characters come to life in the living room of the prize-winning artist who created them. Meet Dick Kaplan and his wife Lorraine, die-hard New Yorkers, living large in L.A. and coming to terms with the unreality of their lives on the occasion of Dick's 50th birthday."

MTC Studios is located in Manhattan at 311 West 43rd Street.
