A host of theatre artists are part of the Nov. 23 event A Broadway Extravaganza, which benefits Rosie's Broadway Kids. Emmy Award winner Rosie O'Donnell, who founded the organization, hosts the evening at Broadway's Palace Theater.
The concert includes a tribute to actress and singer Queen Latifah. Attendees can also expect to enjoy performances by Nikki Blonsky, Gavin Creel, Melinda Doolittle, Montego Glover, Norm Lewis, Judy Gold, the cast of Jim Henson's Emmet Otter and Rosie’s Broadway Kids.
Christopher Gattelli (Altar Boyz, South Pacific) directs the evening, which boasts a 20-piece orchestra.
Rosie's Broadway Kids "teaches musical theatre to thousands of underprivileged children throughout New York City, and proceeds from the evening will help continue RBKid's efforts, whose mission is to improve the lives of children through the arts."
