Red Bull's The Pretenders Will Feature Abraham, Waterston and More

Craig Baldwin will direct the 7:30 PM reading. In addition to Abraham and Waterston, the cast will include Sterling K. Brown, Sam Tsoutsouvas, Joel Bernstein, Aysan Celik, Nigel Gore, Delphi Harrington, Caitlin O'Connell, Michael Potts, Steven Skybell, Alexander Sovronsky and Nick Westrate.
The Pretenders is described in press notes as such: “The corrupting force of political power is rendered with jaw-dropping psychological detail in this rarely performed thriller.” Alexander Sovronsky will provide live musical accompaniment.
Upcoming readings in the series include Jean Racine's Bérénice (Dec. 14); and Thomas Heywood's A Woman Killed with Kindness (Dec. 28).
