After an acclaimed run at the Ford Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, Shoshana Bean: A Happening plays a one-night-only engagement at Fredrick P. Rose Hall in Manhattan Nov. 30.

The star of Wicked and the Las Vegas spectacle Peepshow covers everything from Streisand hits to her debut album "Superhero" in the evening that is directed by Broadway's Billy Porter. James Sampliner serves as musical director for the concert that is presented by Upright Cabaret.

According to press notes, A Happening "takes the audience on a journey from the classic to the contemporary, beginning with selections from the Streisand songbook, evolving to her own material." The show features standards like "Cry Me a River" and "On A Clear Day" and her songs "116th" and "Superhero."

In addition to her run in Wicked and Jerry Mitchell's Peepshow in Las Vegas, Bean appeared in the original Broadway cast of Hairspray and in the Off-Broadway revival of Godspell.
