Tony Winner Jason Robert Brown to Go Solo at the Beechman

Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown, most recently represented on Broadway by the new musical 13, will perform in concert next month at the Laurie Beechman Theater.

Entitled JRB: Solo At The Beechman, the Dec. 15 concert is scheduled to begin at 9:15 PM. Concertgoers can expect to hear brand-new material as well as songs from The Last Five Years, Songs for a New World, Parade, 13 and the album "Wearing Someone Else's Clothes."

The evening, according to press notes, "will be a very rare up-close-and-personal evening with Jason – no band, no hype, just Brown at a piano sharing his art and his music."

Brown won a Tony Award for his score to Parade.
