The Michael Feinstein & David Hyde Pierce Holiday Show will play Feinstein's at Loews Regency through Dec. 30.
Musical director John Oddo leads an all-atar quintet. Expect tunes by such composers as Cole Porter ("You're the Top"), Noël Coward ("Together With Music") and Marc Shaiman and Alan & Marilyn Bergman ("The Best of Friends").
A five-time Grammy nominee, Michael Feinstein is often credited with reinvigorating interest in the American popular song. The crooner has performed in concert halls around the world and on Broadway and now co-owns his own nightclub, Feinstein's at Loews Regency. His numerous solo recordings include "The Sinatra Project," "Michael and George: Feinstein Sings Gershwin," "Big City Rhythms" "Romance On Film, Romance On Broadway," "Michael Feinstein with The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra," "Only One Life: The Songs of Jimmy Webb" and "Hopeless Romantics." Feinstein will return to Broadway later this season in a new show with Dame Edna Everage.
David Hyde Pierce won a Tony Award for his performance in Curtains and has also been seen on Broadway in Accent on Youth, Spamalot, The Heidi Chronicles and Beyond Therapy. He is also an Emmy winner for his work on "Frasier."
