Dreamgirls Cast to Sing On "The Early Show" Dec. 1

The cast of the new production of Dreamgirls, which is currently playing a limited engagement at the Apollo Theater, will perform on the Dec. 1 broadcast of "The Early Show."

Performances of the title song and "Listen" will be presented on the morning program, which airs in the New York metropolitan area at 7 AM ET on WCBS, Channel 2.

Moya Angela stars as Effie White alongside Syesha Mercado as Deena Jones, Adrienne Warren as Lorrell Robinson and Margaret Hoffman as Michelle Morris. Principal casting also includes Chaz Lamar Shepherd as Curtis Taylor, Jr., Chester Gregory as James "Thunder" Early, Trevon Davis as C.C. White and Milton Craig Nealy as Marty Madison.

Dreamgirls continues through Dec. 12 at the Apollo before launching its national tour.
