"Damages" Third Season, with Glenn Close, to Premiere in January 2010 on FX

The third season of the FX television series "Damages," starring Tony Award winner Glenn Close, will premiere Jan. 25, 2010, the cable network has announced.

The series will now air on Mondays at 10 PM (ET). Close leads the cast with returning stars Rose Byrne, Tate Donovan and Ted Danson.

Stage veterans Campbell Scott (The Atheist) and Martin Short (The Producers, Fame Becomes Me) will join as series regulars. Lily Tomlin (The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe) and Keith Carradine (The Will Rogers Follies, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Darren Goldstein, Michael Gaston and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will appear as special guest stars.

The roster of theatre actors that have already logged time on the show include Tom Aldredge, Philip Bosco, Zeljko Ivanek (in an Emmy Award-winning turn), Noah Bean, William Hurt, Marcia Gay Harden, Maya Days, Debra Monk, Kathryn Meisle, Jeremy Shamos, Natalie Venetia Belcon and Kate Jennings Grant, among others.

"Damages" is executive produced by Todd A. Kessler, Glenn Kessler and Daniel Zelman, and co-executive produced by Mark A. Baker and Aaron Zelman.
