Brent Barrett Will Sing on TV and at Birdland

Brent Barrett — who is currently appearing in the Tony-winning revival of CChicago/I> — will celebrate his new holiday recording with performances on television and at the jazz club Birdland.



Barrett will perform a song from "Christmas Mornings" Dec. 4 on FOX-5's "Good Day New York." His appearance is scheduled for 9:50 AM ET; for more information visit www.myfoxny.com.

On "Christmas Mornings," Barrett sings holiday standards and new tunes, including an original song, "A Star to Guide Me," that he wrote.

Barrett recently completed a two-year stint in the title role of Phantom – the Las Vegas Spectacular. He received an Olivier Award nomination for his role in the London company of Kiss Me, Kate and appeared on Broadway in Annie Get Your Gun, Grand Hotel, Dance a Little Closer, West Side Story and Candide.

The singing actor is once again playing the role of lawyer Billy Flynn for an eight-week engagement in Chicago through Nov. 29.
