Carvajal to Sing Goodman Songs in I Am A Ham Dec. 7

Rooms cast member Celina Carvajal will perform I Am A Ham, an evening of music by songwriter Paul Scott Goodman, Dec. 7 at Sweet Caroline's Piano Bar.



David Alpert (Craig Stevens Guide and assistant on The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide…) directs the 8 PM concert that promises highlights from Goodman's shows including Rooms a rock romance, Bright Lights Big City and Alive in the World. Guitarist Matt Hinkley and Jason Michael Snow (South Pacific) will join Carvajal.

Carvajal has appeared on Broadway in Tarzan, Dracula, 42nd Street and Cats. She has also been seen Off-Broadway in Rooms, The Toxic Avenger and the NYMF production of Bedbugs!!! She was a contestant on MTV's "Legally Blonde, The Search for the Next Elle Woods" and will appear in the upcoming movie "The Big Gay Musical."

Goodman's latest musical project Easterhouse was developed at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's 2009 Cabaret and Performance Conference in August.
