David Rambo's The Lady with All the Answers, which features two-time Tony winner Judith Ivey as the late advice columnist Ann Landers, ends its run at Off-Broadway's Cherry Lane Theatre Dec. 6 following the 2 PM matinee.

Directed by B.J. Jones, the production, which opened Oct. 14, had originally been scheduled to play through Nov. 29 but had recently announced an extension through Dec. 20.

When it closes, the production will have played 8 previews and 51 performances.

In The Lady with All the Answers, press notes state, "Landers finds herself writing a column about a new kind of heartbreak — her own. Drawn from Landers' life and letters, The Lady with All the Answers is a touching and comic portrait of a wise, funny, no-nonsense woman who was, in fact, one of the most influential figures in America by virtue of the millions of readers who wrote to her seeking her indispensable advice and sometimes controversial opinions on matters ranging from marriage, divorce, life, death and sexuality, to the proper way to hang a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom."

The production features set design by Neil Patel, costume design by Martin Pakledinaz, lighting design by Nicole Pearce, sound design by Kevin O'Donnell and wig design by Paul Huntley.

Judith Ivey is a two-time Tony Award winner for her roles in Steaming and Hurlyburly. She also received a nomination for her performance in Park Your Car in Harvard Yard, and her other Broadway credits include the revival of Follies as well as Voices in the Dark, Blithe Spirit, Precious Sons, Piaf and Bedroom Farce. Also a director, Ivey recently helmed the Off-Broadway musical Vanities.

The Cherry Lane Theatre is located at 38 Commerce Street in New York City. Tickets, priced $40 and $50, are on sale by calling (212) 239-6200 or by visiting www.telecharge.com.
