Veteran theatre couple Lynn and Ron Cohen will star in Samuel Beckett's Happy Days for Cape May Stage in 2010.

The New Jersey venue will offer Beckett's apocalyptic work Aug. 25-Sept. 25, 2010. The Cohens appeared in Social Security for Cape May Stage earlier this year.

Lynn Cohen will portray Winnie, with Ron as Willie in Beckett's existential two-hander. Press notes read: "Beckett pursues his relentless search for the meaning of existence, probing the tenuous relationships that bind one person to another, and each to the universe, to time past and time present. Once again, stripping theater to its barest essentials, Happy Days offers only two characters: a married couple, Winnie and Willie, a mound of dirt as the set, and a bag of props containing a few earthly possessions."

The season will also feature the world premiere of Charles Evered's Class (May 14-June 12, 2010); Paul Rudnick's I Hate Hamlet (June 16-July 17, 2010); Barry Harman and Keith Herrmann's musical Romance/Romance (July 21-Aug. 21, 2010); Suzan-Lori Parks' Topdog/Underdog (Sept. 29-Oct. 23, 2010); The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged (Oct. 27-Nov. 2010); and the world premiere of Scott Hitz's conception of The Little Prince, penned by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar (Nov. 26-Dec. 31, 2010).
