Jim Stanek, whose Broadway credits include Lestat, Little Women, The Rivals, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Indiscretions and The Story of My Life, will star in the Skyline Theatre Company's benefit staging of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.
Show times are Dec. 12 at 2 and 7:30 PM at the Fair Lawn Community Center's George Frey Center for Arts and Recreation in Bergen County, NJ.
Stanek, who will be playing the role immortalized on film by James Stewart, will be joined onstage by Tiffany Lutz as Mary, Joe Vierno, Paul Salvetoriello and Alan Van Antwerp.
"Frank Capra's beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a 1940's radio broadcast," according to press notes, "and brings the story of the idealistic George Bailey as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve."
