A host of theatre luminaries will join Zero Hour actor and writer Jim Brochu Dec. 9 at the Lincoln Triangle Barnes and Noble.

Brochu, who conjures Tony winner and Fiddler on the Roof star Zero Mostel in the new Off-Broadway production, will discuss the life of the late performer at 7:30 PM.

Offering personal accounts of Mostel's life will be special guests Kurt Peterson, Louise Hirschfeld, Mrs. Burton (Lynn) Lane, Frances Sternhagen, Sheldon Harnick and Peter Filichia.

Press notes for Zero Hour read: "Set in theatre legend Zero Mostel's painting studio on West 28th Street, a naïve reporter attempts to interview the famously volatile artist, prompting an explosion of memory, humor, outrage, and juicy backstage lore. Mostel is remembered for his comedic genius and his definitive roles, but in the 1950's he was equally known for his place on the infamous Hollywood blacklist."

Piper Laurie directs the production that opened Nov. 22 and will run through Jan. 31, 2010, at the Theatre at St. Clement's. Brochu is also the author of The Big Voice: God or Merman? and The Last Session.

The Barnes and Noble at Lincoln Triangle is located at 1972 Broadway at 66th Street in Manhattan. For further information call (212) 595-6859 or visit BN.
