LaChanze and Spencer to Sing From "Messiah Rocks" at Barnes and Noble

Tony Award winner LaChanze and Tony nominee J. Robert Spencer will perform highlights of "Handel's Messiah Rocks" at the Lincoln Triangle Barnes and Noble Dec. 15.

LaChanze (The Color Purple, Once On This Island) and Spencer (Next to Normal, Jersey Boys) will perform at 5 PM. They are both represented on the CD and DVD of the title, which was released Oct. 6.

Dani David and Jason Howland created the work that "blends classical music with classic rock in a fresh interpretation of Handel's celebrated oratorio." A signing will follow the performances.
