PHOTO CALL: Zeta-Jones and Lansbury in Broadway's A Little Night Music

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury star in the new Broadway revival of the Stephen Sondheim-Hugh Wheeler musical A Little Night Music currently playing at the Walter Kerr Theatre.

Trevor Nunn directs the revival headed by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury. The cast also features are Alexander Hanson, Aaron Lazar, Erin Davie, Leigh Ann Larkin, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka and Ramona Mallory with Bradley Dean, Marissa McGowan, Betsy Morgan, Karen Murphy, Jayne Paterson and Kevin David Thomas.

Sondheim's 1973 musical is based on the Ingmar Bergman film "Smiles of a Summer Night," about an aging actress, Desiree Armfeldt. She finds herself renewing a romance with a married lawyer when she grows tired of her blustering soldier lover, and the lawyer grows impatient with his resistently virginal child-bride. Romantic subplots collide during one eventful weekend in the country.
