Beginning in February and March 2010, Nora and Delia Ephron's intimate Off-Broadway production will feature Conn (Lost in Yonkers, "Grease"), Drescher ("The Nanny," Some Girl(s)) and Kane ("Taxi," Wicked), as well as Janeane Garofalo ("Reality Bites"), June Diane Raphael ("Bride Wars," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall") and comedian Caroline Rhea.
Producer Daryl Roth also announced that the open-ended production recouped its initial investment in its first 11 weeks of production at the Westside Theatre.
Karen Carpenter directs Ephron's play based on Ilene Beckerman's book of the same name. Performances began Sept. 21.
The design team includes Jo Winiarski (scenic design), Jessica Jahn (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), Walter Trarbach (sound design) and Maria Verel (make-up design).
Carpenter also directed the Monday night readings of Love, Loss, and What I Wore that were presented this past winter and spring as a benefit for Dress for Success. A portion of the proceeds from the current run will benefit Dress for Success.
