Pinkalicious, the Musical Extends Through February 2010

Vital Theatre Company's production of Pinkalicious, the Musical has extended its run at Off-Broadway's 45 Bleecker Street through February 2010.

The production plays Saturdays and Sundays at 1 PM and is appropriate for children ages two to ten.

Pinkalicious features book and lyrics by Elizabeth Kann and Victoria Kann and music, lyrics and orchestrations by John Gregor. Teresa K. Pond directs with musical direction by Jad Bernardo. Following a run at New World Stages, Pinkalicious began performances at the Bleecker Street Theatre Nov. 1, 2008.

The musical is described as such: "Pinkalicious can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe — a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this predicament."
