PHOTO CALL: LaChanze Performs at "Handel's Messiah Rocks" Signing

Tony Award winner LaChanze performed highlights of "Handel's Messiah Rocks" at the Lincoln Triangle Barnes and Noble Dec. 15.

Dani Davis and Jason Howland created the work that "blends classical music with classic rock in a fresh interpretation of Handel's celebrated oratorio."

A September 2008 performance, filmed at Emerson College, featured LaChanze, J. Robert Spencer, Australian vocalist MiG Ayesa and the Boston Pops.

The performance was broadcast on PBS this past summer and is now available on DVD and CD.

Davis, Howland and LaChanze were on hand for a brief performance followed by disc signing:
