The Mint Theater Company has added an extra performance to the Off-Broadway run of So Help Me God!.

Maurine Dallas Watkin's 1920's comedy opened to acclaim at the Lucille Lortel Theatre Dec. 7 and was originally scheduled to conclude Dec. 20 following the 2 PM matinee. In order to accommodate ticket demand, a 7 PM performance of So Help Me God! will also be presented Dec. 20.

Kristen Johnston (The Women, "3rd Rock from the Sun") stars as Lily, the demanding leading actress, with Anna Chlumsky ("My Girl," Fabulous Life of a Size Zero) as her ambitious, yet naïve understudy, who aims to take her place. Mint artistic director Jonathan Bank directed the production.

So Help Me God! also features Brad Bellamy, Catherine Curtin, Amy Fitts, Jeremy Lawrence, Ned Noyes, Kevin O'Donnell, John G. Preston, Allen Lewis Rickman, Kraig Swartz, Peter Van Wagner, Matthew Waterson, Margot White and John Windsor-Cunningham.

Designing the production are Bill Clarke (scenic design), Clint Ramos (costume design), Robert Wierzel (lighting design) and Jane Shaw (sound design).

Johnston headlined a reading of So Help Me God! last summer at the Lortel. Watkins is the late playwright of Chicago (the basis for the Kander and Ebb musical), as well as the screenplays "Libeled Lady" and "Roxie Hart."

Tickets are available by phoning (212) 279-4200 or by visiting TicketCentral. The Lucille Lortel Theatre is located at 121 Christopher Street.
