Other notable appearances in the magazine include stage veterans Alec Baldwin and Meryl Streep in the list of "Entertainers of the Year" at No. 4 and 6, respectively. One-time Wicked star and "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert placed at No. 8. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee star Jesse Tyler Ferguson is included among the "Modern Family" cast at No. 9. Love, Loss, and What I Wore actress Jane Lynch was earned the No. 10 spot for her turn on "Glee." And Michael C. Hall and John Lithgow — pitted against each other on "Dexter" — completed the list at No. 15.

The Seagull actress Carey Mulligan was featured among "2009's Breakout Movie Stars" for her work in the film "An Education" (opposite her Broadway co-star Peter Sarsgaard). Spring Awakening star Lea Michele was featured on the "2009's Breakout TV Stars" for her wanna-be starlet turn as Rachel Berry on "Glee."
