Lenz Will Direct Struthers, Emick, Reiber, Schworer and Leggs in NC Full Monty

Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick will head the cast of the North Carolina Theatre's upcoming production of the award-winning musical The Full Monty, which begins previews Feb. 27.

Directed by Matt Lenz, the show will run through March 7 in the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts.

The cast will also feature two-time Emmy Award-winning actress Sally Struthers as Jeannette, Ira David Wood III (Harold), Julie Reiber (Georgie), Angie Schworer (Vicki), Kingsley Leggs (Horse) and Joe Coots (Dave).

The Full Monty features a score by Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' David Yazbek and a book by Terrence McNally. "There is great heart in The Full Monty as six unemployed Buffalo steelworkers come up with a bold way to make some quick cash," according to press notes. "In the process they discover their renewed self-esteem, the importance of friendship and the ability to have fun."
