Tony nominee Robert Cuccioli will star as Guido Contini in the Westchester Broadway Theatre production of the Tony-winning musical Nine, which will begin performances Feb. 18.
Maury Yeston penned the score to the musical with a book by Arthur Kopit. Nine will run through April 24.
According to the theatre's website, the Westchester production will also include some of the songs penned for the recent Rob Marshall film version of the musical, though an announcement of the titles has not been made. Yeston penned three new songs for the film, including "Guarda La Luna," "Take It All" and "Cinema Italiano."
Additional casting will be announced shortly.
The recent film adaptation starred Daniel Day-Lewis, Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Sophia Loren, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Judi Dench and Fergie.
