The evening, entitled Miranda Sings, will play the famed jazz venue Feb. 21. Show time is 6 PM.
Press notes warn to "expect special guests, including Broadway’s Christopher Sieber, composer Scott Alan, onstage voice lessons, fashion makeovers and dramatic readings of hate mail."
Miranda is an internet character created by California-based theatre student Colleen Ballinger, and proliferated via YouTube.
Sieber earned Tony Award nominations for his work as Sir Galahad/The Black Knight/Prince Herbert's Father in Spamalot and as the 4-foot-5-inch Lord Farquaad in Shrek. Other credits include Beauty and the Beast, Chicago, Triumph of Love, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Into the Woods.
Birdland is located in Manhattan at 315 West 44th Street. For tickets, priced $25-$35 (plus $10 food/drink minimum), call (212) 581-3080 or visit www.BirdlandJazz.com.
