PHOTO CALL: Shaddow is Fanny at City Center Encores!

Elena Shaddow, Fred Applegate, George Hearn and James Snyder star in the City Center Encores production of Fanny.

Directed by Marc Bruni and choreographed by Lorin Latarro, the limited engagement runs through Feb. 7.

Also featured in the cast are David Patrick Kelly as The Admiral, Tony Award winner Priscilla Lopez as Honorine, Michael McCormick as Escartifique and Ted Sutherland as Cesario.

The love story is "a tale of a young girl's passion for a young man so in love with the sea that he leaves her, little realizing that she is pregnant with his child. Her marriage of convenience to a wealthy older man desperate to have an heir is complicated by the sailor's return years later."
