Jones, Biggins and More Join Line-Up for Royal Albert Hall's Night of 1000 Voices

Former star choirboy turned adult musical theatre actor Aled Jones will host this year's annual The Night of 1000 Voices gala, which is being held at the Royal Albert Hall May 2.

Joining the previously announced headliners Kerry Ellis, Adam Pascal and Philip Quast will also be West End regulars Ricardo Alfonso (We Will Rock You), Jessie Buckley (A Little Night Music and runner-up in TV's "I'd Do Anything" to play Nancy in Oliver!), Tiffany Graves (Chicago), Debbie Kurup (Rent), Lee Ormsby (Buddy) and Tabitha Webb (The Phantom of the Opera), as well as Night of 1000 Voices regulars Terri Bibb (seen on Broadway as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera), Kenneth Nichols (Chicago's Lyric Opera) and David Michael Johnson (We Will Rock You in Stuttgart).

West End musical conductors Mark Warman, Stuart Morley and David Firman will supervise the massed musical forces, with Hugh Wooldridge directing the event.

This year The Night of 1000 Voices will be celebrating its 10th birthday, the 80th birthday of Stephen Sondheim and the 50th anniversary of this year's charity, Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. The latter is the only UK charity solely dedicated to saving lives through research into better treatments and cures for all blood cancers including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

This year there will be a birthday tribute to Stephen Sondheim, as well as the most requested favorites from the last ten years – including "You’ll Never Walk Alone," The "Tonight" Quintet, "It Ain't Necessarily So," and "Don’t Cry For Me Argentina," together with nods to We Will Rock You and The Rocky Horror Show, featuring "I'm a Celebrity – Get me Out of Here winner Christoper Biggins.
