Rockers on Broadway — Rocks to Rebuild, an all-star benefit for the children of Haiti, will be presented March 1 at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill.
Presented by B.B. King Blues Club and The Path Fund, 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit UNICEF and Save the Children, organizations working in Haiti to "provide safe havens for the thousands of children left homeless by the earthquake."
The 8 PM concert will boast the talents of Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis, Tony Award winner Alice Ripley, Tony nominee J. Robert Spencer, Grammy winner Larry Gatlin, singer/songwriter Kate Taylor and Gene Cornish & The Guitar Club for Men. Vinny Pastore ("The Sopranos") will be a special guest.
Also scheduled to perform are Broadway's Tituss Burgess (Guys and Dolls), Ben Cameron (Wicked), Ta'rea Campbell (Lion King), John Arthur Greene (West Side Story), Emma Hunton (Spring Awakening), Sean Jenness (The Civil War), Adam Kantor (Rent), Donnie Kehr (Billy Elliot), Lauren Kennedy (Spamalot), Michelle Kinney (Drift), Michael Lanning (The Civil War), Gerry McIntyre (Once On This Island), Sarah Schmidt (Jersey Boys), Jeremy Schonfeld (Drift), Matt Stocke (Rock of Ages) and Clarke Thorell (Hairspray).
