"30 Rock" star Krakowski will receive the Point Courage Award; Citi will receive the Point Inspiration Award; and author, political strategist and civil rights activist David Mixner will receive the Point Legend Award. Victoria Reggie Kennedy will present the award to Mixner, with additional guest participants to be announced shortly.
Jorge Valencia, executive director and chief executive officer of Point Foundation, said in a statement, "In addition to being one of the most talented actresses today, Jane Krakowski has been a supporter of the LGBT community and advocate of the importance of education for her entire career."
Krakowski added, "The Point Foundation's commitment to excellence in education and providing support for LGBT students is truly an inspiring mission. I am honored to be a part of such a special evening."
The awards will be presented at Point’s annual New York benefit, Point Honors, which will be held April 19 at 583 Park Avenue in New York City and hosted by Kelly Ripa (LIVE! with Regis & Kelly) and Andy Cohen, host of Bravo’s "Watch What Happens Live!"
A Tony Award winner for her work in Nine, Jane Krakowski was previously seen on Broadway in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express and the Roundabout revival of Stephen Sondheim's Company. She also appeared in the original cast of Grand Hotel, but may be best known for her work on TV's "Ally McBeal" and, now, "30 Rock." Krakowski was also part of the City Center Encores! Summer Stars production of Damn Yankees.
