PHOTO CALL: Inner Voices: Solo Musicals With Blazer and Blickenstaff

The cast, composers and creative team of Primary Stages' upcoming Inner Voices: Solo Musicals greeted the press March 8. Heidi Blickenstaff and Judith Blazer will each star in a new one-woman show at 59E59 Theaters Off-Broadway.

Mosaic features book and lyrics by Cheri Steinkellner and music and lyrics by Georgia Stitt. [title of show]'s Heidi Blickenstaff will star as Ruth in the musical, which is described as "a multi-media, real-time half hour in the life –and on the MacBook – of Ruth, a woman blogging at the crossroads of birth, death, love and Diet Coke."

Whida Peru: Resurrection Tangle features book and lyrics by David Simpatico and music by Josh Schmidt. Judith Blazer will star as Whida Peru in the new musical, which takes audiences "into the chambers of a rare creature, as she is forced to evaluate the quality of life, death and what lies in between for her."

The musicals are presented by Premieres and Primary Stages.

Inner Voices: Solo Musicals will be presented April 2-24 at 59E59 Theaters in Manhattan at 59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues.
