Multiple Emmy Award winner Ed Asner stars in FDR March 20 at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.

Show time at the La Mirada venue is 8 PM.

FDR, according to press notes, "explores the life of one of America's best-loved presidents and the events and decisions that shaped a nation. This powerful play follows the iconic president as he reflects on his years in office, from inauguration to the trials of World War II." The play is based upon Dore Schary's Broadway hit Sunrise at Campobello.

Ed Asner is the recipient of seven Emmy Awards and 16 nominations and five Golden Globe Awards. He is best known for his work on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "Lou Grant." He was recently heard in Pixar's "Up."
