Drew Lachey, Sally Struthers, Ashley Spencer Set for Pittsburgh CLO Musicals

Sally Struthers, Drew Lachey, John Treacy Egan and Paul Vogt will be part of the summer season at the Pittsburgh CLO, which includes productions of Hairspray, The Producers and Curtains.

The cast of Hairspray, running July 20-Aug. 1, will feature Lachey ("Dancing with the Stars") as Corny Collins, Vogt (Broadway's Hairspray) reprising his performance as Edna Turnblad, E. Clayton Cornelius (A Chorus Line) as Seaweed, Kecia Lewis-Evans (Shrek) as Motormouth Maybelle and Ashley Spencer ("Grease: You’re the One That I Want") as Amber von Tussle.

Struthers will star as producer Carmen Bernstein in Kander and Ebb's Curtains June 22-27. The cast will also include Spencer as Nikki Harris.

From July 6-18, The Producers will feature Egan (The Little Mermaid) as Max Bialystock, Spencer as Ulla and Jim Stanek (Lestat) as Leo Bloom.

Broadway veteran Ed Dixon (Sunday in the Park with George, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Les Misérables) will appear as Dr. Engel in The Student Prince from Aug. 3-8.

The company will also produce Oliver! June 1-6. Additional casting will be announced shortly.
