Chlumsky, Shields, Halston and More Recall Love, Loss, and What I Wore Beginning April 28

The Off-Broadway production of Love, Loss, and What I Wore welcomes Anna Chlumsky, Julie Halston, LaTanya Richardson, Doris Roberts and Brooke Shields to its rotating cast April 28.

Karen Carpenter directs the production at the Westside Theatre. Performances began Sept. 21, 2009. The current group of actresses will continue through May 23.

Nora and Delia Ephron penned the play based on Ilene Beckerman's book of the same name that "uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to."

The design team includes Jo Winiarski (scenic design), Jessica Jahn (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), Walter Trarbach (sound design) and Maria Verel (make-up design).

Carpenter also directed the Monday night readings of Love, Loss, and What I Wore that were presented this past winter and spring as a benefit for Dress for Success. A portion of the proceeds from the current run benefit Dress for Success.
