The artwork of Tony Award-winning Jersey Boys star John Lloyd Young will be unveiled during the Food for Thought benefit May 23 in Los Angeles.
Tony-nominated Color Purple songwriter Allee Willis will host the 3-6 PM event at her private studio, Willis Wonderland, which houses a collection of kitsch art.
Lloyd Young works in the "pop kitsch" medium and will showcase his work inspired by iconic American comfort foods, including frozen dinners and pop beverages. Young will also auction off several of his pieces during the benefit.
Young is best known for his breakout role as Frankie Valli in the Broadway hit Jersey Boys. His single "Love Believes" is currently available on iTunes. His solo album is forthcoming.
