More casting has been announced for the 7 PM presentation of the romantic musical fantasy by Alan Jay Lerner (book and lyrics) and Frederick Loewe (music), which will feature a chorus of 50 and an orchestra of 20.
Irish Rep artistic director Charlotte Moore will direct a cast that includes Len Cariou (Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music) as Mr. Lundie; Christine Ebersole (Grey Gardens) as Meg; Jason Danieley (South Pacific concert on PBS, Curtains) as Tommy; Melissa Errico (Dracula, Amour, High Society, White Christmas) as Fiona; Ciaran Sheehan (The Phantom of the Opera) as Harry; A.J. Shively (Jean-Michel in La Cage aux Folles) as Charlie; Don Stephenson (The Producers) as Jeff and more.
Mark Hartman (Sondheim on Sondheim) will conduct. Choreography is by Barry McNabb.
The famous Broadway score from the creators of My Fair Lady, Camelot, "Gigi" and Paint Your Wagon features "Almost Like Being in Love," "Waitin' for My Dearie," "Come to Me, Bend to Me," "The Heather on the Hill" and "Brigadoon."
Irish Repertory's 2010 Annual Benefit Gala featuring this rare concert version of Brigadoon will be followed by dinner with the cast at Sardi's.
