Harry Connick, Jr. in Concert on Broadway will play a 13-performance engagement through July 29. James L. Nederlander and Broadway Across America present the Broadway stop on Connick's current multi-city concert tour, which continues through the fall.
"We'll make it special and add some surprises for the Broadway house because it is Broadway," Connick, Jr. told Playbill.com in a recent interview. "You're not just playing some venue. It demands some individuality."
The evening will highlight songs from his latest album "Your Songs," which features such pop classics as "The Way You Look Tonight," "Some Enchanted Evening," "Close to You," "Who Can I Turn To?" and "Smile."
He also revealed, "I could sing 'Mona Lisa' or 'The Way You Look Tonight,' or some of the songs I wrote — like 'We Are in Love.' We're just going to keep mixing it up and changing it."
For tickets phone (800) 745-3000 or visit Ticketmaster. The Neil Simon Theatre is located at 50 West 52nd Street.
