Directed by Harold Goldfaden with choreography by Peggy Taphorn, the classic American musical will continue through Aug. 15.
The cast will also boast James Anthony as Steve, Jo Ann Hawkins White as Queenie, Georgia Engel as Parthy, Nick Cosgrove as Windy, Beverly Ward as Ellie, Kirby Ward as Frank, Terry Burrell as Julie, Danny Gurwin as Gaylord Ravenal, Leah Horowitz as Magnolia, Michel Bell as Joe, Kelsey Knee as Kim, Anthony Cummings as Vallon, John Riddle as Jeb, Shannon M. O'Bryan as Young Kim, Michele Burdette-Elmore as Mother Superior, Michael Horsely as Jake, Samantha Massell as Lottie, Gia Grazie Valenti as Dottie and John Riddle as Drunk.
The ensemble will comprise Ryan Breslin, RJ Brown, Michele Burdette-Elmore, Will Burton, Audrey Cardwell, John Contini, Nick Cosgrove, Duane Martin Foster, AJ Hughes, Andy Jones, Samantha Massell, Shannon M. O'Bryan, Kent Overshown, Mary Michael Patterson, Tayla Renee Perry, Rich Pisarkiewicz, John Riddle, Ryan Rose, Patrick Ross, Cara Salerno, Leah Stewart, Gregory Theron, Madeline Trumble, Jeanne Trevor, Gia Grazia Valenti, Zoe Vander Harr, Lindsay Warren and Mari Watson.
The musical was the first to tackle such weighty issues as racial prejudice, poverty and abandonment. The show's songs include "Make Believe," "Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man," "Bill" and "Ol' Man River."
The upcoming production will feature musical direction by Catherine Majetka, set design by Michael Anania and lighting design by F. Mitchell Dana. The production stage manager is Matt Lacey; the assistant stage manager is Zoe Chapin; and the production assistant is Adam Moser. Richie McCall is the assistant choreographer.
Paul Blake produces for The Muny; the associate producer is Mike Bosner.
The remainder of the season includes The Sound of Music, now through Aug. 1; Footloose, Aug. 2-8; and Show Boat, Aug. 9-15.
