Actors Fund Benefit Screening of "Expecting Mary," With Cloris Leachman, Cybill Shepherd, Presented Aug. 23

A screening of the new film "Expecting Mary" will be presented Aug. 23 at 6:30 PM at the Crosby Street Hotel to benefit the Actors Fund.

The new film, which opens Sept. 10, is "the story of a runway pregnant teenager, with all the trappings of an upscale life, who finds herself in a downtrodden trailer park in New Mexico, and learns the meeting of love, sacrifice and family," according to press notes.

Written and directed by Dan Gordon, the motion picture stars Elliott Gould, Linda Gray, Cloris Leachman, Lainie Kazan, Cybill Shepherd, Gene Simmons, Della Reese, Olesya Rulin and Fred Willard.

"Expecting Mary" was executive produced by Jim Casey and produced by Kim Waltrip.

A cast party will follow the screening. Currently scheduled to attend the evening are Linda Gray, Cybill Shepherd, Della Reese, Lainie Kazan and Olesya Rulin.
