West End Bids Farewell to Hair, Tap Dogs, La Bête and All the Fun of the Fair

The West End bids farewell to the Broadway company of Hair, who brought the show to the Gielgud Theatre, Sept. 4. The production is not being re-cast as previously anticipated with British actors and will shutter following their final performance.

Also departing the West End after the limited runs are the David Essex tuner All the Fun of the Fair (closing at the Garrick Sept. 4), La Bête (closing at the Comedy Sept. 4, before transferring to Broadway where it resumes performances at the Music Box Sept. 23) and Tap Dogs (closing at the Novello Sept. 5).
