Described as a "Broadway musical cabaret," the 3 PM concerts on Oct. 23 and 24 coincide with MCNY's current "Notorious & Notable" exhibition showcasing the fashion and jewelry of iconic New York women, including Lena Horne and Lauren Bacall.
Michael Monte has written the concerts, which he also directs. In addition to Plantadit, the afternoons feature Bogart (Les Miserables), Mallory (A Little Night Music) and Turner (Sunday in the Park with George). Lawrence Yurman serves as musical director.
