Christiane Noll Will Join Marvin Hamlisch for Holiday Concerts at the Kennedy Center

Ragtime Tony nominee Christiane Noll will join Marvin Hamlisch for NSO Pops: Happy Holidays!, a series of holiday concerts at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' Concert Hall.

The Dec. 9-12 concerts will also feature the talents of soprano Mikaela Schneider and The City Choir of Washington. The artists will be backed by the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Tony winner Hamlisch.

Christiane Noll, who received a Tony nomination for her performance in the revival of Ragtime, made her Broadway debut as Emma Carew in Frank Wildhorn's Jekyll & Hyde. She later joined the Broadway company of It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues and starred in the City Center Encores! production of The New Moon. Noll appeared in the national tours of Urinetown, Grease!, Miss Saigon and City of Angels, and she has recorded several solo albums: "Christiane Noll — A Broadway Love Story" (Varese Sarabande Records), "Live at the Westbank Café," (Car-Jam Records) and "The Ira Gershwin Album" (Fynsworth Alley). The singing actress was also seen in the American premiere of The Witches of Eastwick and the Off-Broadway musical Frankenstein.
