Brothers Dick and Jerry Van Dyke will team up for a special benefit engagement of Neil Simon's comedy The Sunshine Boys, which will play Malibu Stage in April.
The five-performance benefit run will be presented April 13-17. The comedy centers on a former vaudeville team, who haven't seen one another in decades after a career-ending falling-out, until CBS invites them to reunite for a special on the history of comedy.
Dick Van Dyke is a Tony Award winner for Bye Bye Birdie (a role he re-created on screen). He is well known for his roles on "The Dick Van Dyke Show," "Diagnosis Murder," "Mary Poppins" and "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang."
Jerry Van Dyke is a four-time Emmy Award nominee for his role on the long-running series "Coach." He also made guest appearances on “The Ed Sullivan Show” and “The Judy Garland Show.”
Tickets for the special April 16 gala performance and dinner are $100. All other performances are $50. Phone (310) 589-1998 or visit MalibuStageCompany. Malibu Stage is located at 29243 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA.
