Elizabeth Stanley, Diana DeGarmo, Robert Cuccioli, Lisa Howard, Billy Porter Set for Pittsburgh CLO

Elizabeth Stanley, Robert Cuccioli, Billy Porter and Doug Kreeger will fill out the summer season in the Pittsburgh CLO productions of Jekyll & Hyde and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Tony nominee Cuccioli, who originated the titular roles in Jekyll & Hyde on Broadway, will direct the Frank Wildhorn-Leslie Bricusse musical that will run June 14-26. The cast will feature Kevin Gray (The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon) as Jekyll/Hyde and Stanley (Xanadu, Million Dollar Quartet, Hello Again) as Lucy.

The Andrew Lloyd Webber-Tim Rice rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar will star Doug Kreeger (Rooms, Thrill Me) as Jesus and Porter (Miss Saigon, Smokey Joe's Café) as Judas. Charles Repole will direct the Aug. 2-14 run.

James Brennan will stage The Sound of Music, running July 19-31. The Rodgers and Hammerstein classic will feature Lisa Howard (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, South Pacific) as Mother Abbess and Jennifer Hope Wills (Phantom of the Opera, Wonderful Town) as Maria.

The national tour of Dolly Parton's 9 to 5, starring Diana DeGarmo, Dee Hoty, Mamie Parris and Joseph Mahowald, will also play Pittsburgh May 31-June 5.
